CU grad students help lead university Climate Action Plan

A group of dedicated, interdisciplinary grad students have worked together to ensure undergraduate students have a voice in the CU Boulder Climate Action Plan. This group, including IBS and Natural Hazards Center grad student, Brigid Mark, also launched a hands-on undergraduate course for climate-action planning. The course includes expert guest speakers like Karen Bailey, an IBS Fellow and assistant professor of environmental studies. The grad students’ efforts earned them CU Boulder’s 2025 Campus Sustainability Award for Student Leadership.
