Panel Discussion on Translating Research into Policy/Action

Distinguished Professor Emeritus Delbert Elliott, founding director of the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence; Professor Kathleen Tierney, Director of the Natural Hazards Center

The Institute of Behavioral Science graduate and postdoctoral training program is announcing its final panel of the year. Led by two senior scholars with decades of experience in the topic, it will explore the rewards and challenges of translating social/behavioral science research into policy and action. This event is appropriate for any social scientists, not only graduate students. People from all departments and programs are welcome.

We will have time for Q&A and discussion, so please bring your questions and experiences.

Light lunch will be served. No RSVP needed.
