What is the definition of “woke” in America? And who determines what is and isn’t woke? CU Boulder Political Science grad student and IBS grad student, Benjamin Vandreew, investigated just that in a recent paper for the journal Research and Politics. Vandreew and his coauthors surveyed average Americans, asking them to assign what is and isn’t woke to a variety of predetermined political figures and movements.
