Brief Biography
Amanda Ljuba is currently a PhD student in the department of Sociology at CU Boulder. She obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminology and Sociology from Virginia Tech with a concentration in social inequality. Broadly, Amanda’s research interests explore the root causes of crime in urban settings and the implications of criminal justice policies on marginalized communities.
