Lauren VandenBirge has been working with students and schools for over 10 years, starting out by founding a nonprofit organization that supports a home for children and community center in Central Mexico, The Ayuda Foundation. Since then, Lauren has worked with various organizations, ranging from schools to nonprofits to foundations, including working with Denver Public Schools and the United Way of Salt Lake. Lauren has a B.A. in Sociology from Beloit College, an M.A. in International Development from the University of Denver, and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University. Lauren recently completed her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Utah where she focused on educational equity and organizational change.
