Brief Biography
Michelangelo Landgrave (he/him/él) is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. At CU he serves as the Director of the Research on Accountability, Civics, and Equity Lab and a Fellow of the Institute of Behavioral Science. Outside of CU he is a member of the Evidence in Governance and Politics (EGAP) research network.
He has previously held research appointments at Princeton University, the U.S. Federal Government’s Office of Evaluation Sciences, and the University of Missouri. He earned his PhD in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside, and a Master’s degree in Economics from California State University, Long Beach.
He specializes in state and local politics, legislative studies, and immigration politics. His peer reviewed research has appeared or is forthcoming in Political Analysis, Legislative Studies Quarterly, the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, and other top outlets.
