Brief Biography
Sachi Rohilla is a Psychology graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder, with a pre-medicine focus and a passion for serving underrepresented communities in mental health. She has extensive research experience in cognitive and social psychology, highlighted by her roles as a research assistant at the Renee Crown Wellness Institute and the CU Change Lab. Her work involves conducting literature reviews, performing qualitative interviews, analyzing data, and developing survey instruments to support trauma and sexualized violence prevention, minority stress, and cultural humility.
In addition to her research, Sachi has clinical experience as a medical assistant and scribe. She has also volunteered as a Crisis Counselor for the Crisis Text Line and at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado Springs.
Sachi is enthusiastic about joining the Institute of Behavioral Science as a professional research assistant. She aims to leverage her research and clinical skills to advance prevention science, with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, making a significant impact in minority stress prevention.
