IBS Open House and Ribbon Cutting Celebration

Update sign outside of the former Institute of Behavioral Science building, now the Richard Jessor Building.

This event will celebrate our new building name, the Richard Jessor Building, in honor of social science pioneer and IBS co-founder, Dr. Richard Jessor. We will also open our building to the public for folks to learn about all 11 of our programs and centers, and meet with our researchers.

Refreshments will be provided as well as a mocktail bar.

Program Details:

3:30 – 3:45 p.m.         Ribbon-cutting / unveiling

3:45 – 4:45 p.m.         Move to IBS conference room, 155, welcome, IBS and Dick’s legacy, program flash talks

4:45 – 6 p.m. Open house to close of event

For over 50 years, the Institute of Behavioral Science has been at the forefront of addressing these issues. We research challenging social problems using an interdisciplinary, collaborative, and culturally informed approach. We also disseminate research and resources to communities and inform policymakers with evidence-based solutions.
