Mini Conference: The Deep History of Human Development in the US Southwest
April 28 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

The archaeological record provides many examples of human development that proceeded prior to the onset of the Industrial Revolution. This mini-conference provides an opportunity for researchers across CU to interact with the archaeologists who created a research infrastructure that integrates demographic, environmental, and health data from across the US Southwest to investigate long-term processes of human development. The conference will involve a mix of presentations, discussions, and guided tours of the research infrastructure, which is available open access to interested researchers. This conference will be held in conjunction with the Society for American Archaeology Annual Meeting in Denver.
Sponsored by the Institute of Behavioral Science and the Center for Collaborative Synthesis in Archaeology, with support from the National Science Foundation.
