Brief Biography
I am a 3rd-year Ph.D. student in the political science department here at CU. After graduating with my bachelor’s degree here, I taught in Denver Public Schools for a decade. I came back to study how extreme weather – increasingly worsened by climate change – is affecting vulnerable populations in Latin America. My research includes environmental attitudes, political policy, electoral changes and outcomes, and disaster recovery.
