Brief Biography

Karen Drewelow is the Assistant Director for the multi-state dissemination effort of the Botvin LifeSkills Training (LST) program, an experimentally-proven violence and substance abuse prevention program that develops healthy attitudes and behaviors in adolescents. This large-scale dissemination project has supported fidelity-based implementation of the Botvin LST program across 17 states and reached over 600,000 youth.
