Research Interests
Katie Massey Combs is a Research Associate in the Prevention Science Program, and studies the prevention of behavioral health problems and the promotion of well-being among youth. As the lead researcher on the LifeSkills Training (LST) dissemination project, Katie utilizes over a decade of process evaluation data to understand what factors lead to successful implementation of evidence-based programs. Additionally, her work centers around evaluating prevention and intervention programs, and understanding factors that promote well-being for highly marginalized youth, namely youth who experience maltreatment and child welfare involvement.
