Brief Biography
After spending 22 years at the University of Florida, Radelet joined the faculty at the University of Colorado in 2001. He served five-year terms as Chair of the Sociology Departments at both Florida and Colorado. His research focuses on the death penalty in the U.S. and around the world. He has written or edited eight books and some 100 scholarly papers focusing on such problems as erroneous convictions, racial bias, and ethical issues faced by health care personnel who are involved in capital cases and executions.
