Brief Biography
Regina Bateson is Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. She studies violence and politics, vigilantism, the legacies of civil wars, and problems of democracy. Her research has been published in the American Political Science Review, Perspectives on Politics, the Journal of Peace Research, The Journal of Politics, Comparative Political Studies, and Comparative Politics, among other outlets. She was previously a Foreign Service Officer for the US Department of State.
