Brief Biography

Samina Islam is primary interested in climate change, migration and remained-behind population. She completed her bachelor’s in International Relations from Bangladesh University of Professionals. Before entering the graduate school, she worked at the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD) where she gained experience in conducting and supervising field work, national and international stakeholder engagement, and climate decision-making process. She was involved in projects related to climate adaptation and resilience, climate and development policies, and migration.
