Brief Biography
Skye’s research spans a range of environmental justice concerns, including how community-engaged health care shaped recovery efforts following Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, the relations between prison development and environment inequalities, and how environmental activists navigate pushback and bureaucratic constraints to advocate for Superfund site cleanup. Her current research focuses on building climate resilience in Colorado mobile home communities.
