Let's Connect Facilitator, Center for Resilience + Well-Being
Brief Biography
Stef Moriarty is the Strengthening Families Project Facilitator at Boulder Housing Partners. Stef is collaborating with the Center for Resilience + Well-Being on an Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention funded project called The Community Collective for Youth and Family Resilience and Violence Prevention (Strategies to Support Children Exposed to Violence).
In this role, Stef offers the Let’s Connect® program to caregivers living within Boulder Housing Partners’ varied housing programs. A fluent Spanish speaker, Stef is passionate about strengthening diverse communities through supporting Boulder Housing Partner residents in their goals and passions. Through this partnership, Stef has been trained in the Let’s Connect program as well as in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Stef is an experienced educator with her Master of Arts in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction from CU Denver. She has advocated for families within Boulder Valley School District as a Gifted and Talented Advisor and an Early Childhood Community Liaison. Stef has also worked in the non-profit sector in her role at Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) as a Children, Youth and Families Program Coordinator. Stef is also currently pursuing her Master of arts in Couple and Family Therapy at the University of Colorado in Denver. Her hobbies include yoga, dancing and hiking with friends and family!
